Can be separated to two single beds or, more usefully,the bottom front bed rail can be removed, and the lower bed slats, to create a play/study area with the top bunk now as a HIGHBED with the ladder touching the floor, and the interior space can also be used to position a wardrobe, desk or storage units,or another right-angled single bed.
Also you can shorten the ladder and remove the lower single bed to create a MID HIGH BED. In the middle section there are two small shelves which are ideal for storing teddies and small items.
