When moving their toddler from its outgrown cotbed we ask what space they have

and show its possible to go to a full size single with retaining siderails,instead of an

intermediate junior bed.Side- retaining  rails can be added or removed as desired,and the

underspace can be used to hide a spare guestbed,or storage under-drawers.

  Starter Low bed- bases can be adjusted up in two stages also ,as the child grows,to allow

1/. fixed leg types,which do not convert to other heights with kits.Usually cheapest.

2/. convertible -bed types,which convert to other heights with available kits.

shown package price.We always state what is included in the purchase price as images

can be misleading sometimes with fully dressed up beds etc..

These semi high beds really come appropriate where your bedroom ceiling is sloping

with less than usual room height for the highbed  alternative at the bed location ,and

you want to put a second right-angle bed under it.

  Its a mistake to choose these semi-high beds just so the child can stand up,as they

quickly grow out of this,so then cannot sit at a desk for instance.

and base slats to create the pure semi high playbed ,put curtains around,or push a junior

need the headroom when sitting on the lower bunk.

    We also are aware that at the varoius growth stages, its best to have an adjustable -height desk,

for longevity and value.You obviously need an adjustable chair then too.But its a fact that if the preferred desk is not adjustable,then children are determined to climb up!So a wider more stable seat

or stool is safer from toppling.We can show more of these chairs shortly on this site.
