OUR PAYMENT POLICY
We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Solo and Switch. Posted cheques are accepted with cheque guarantee card details. totstoteensfurniture.co.uk
reserves the right to refuse any sale for reasons of fraud or misappropriation of funds. totstoteensfurnitureonline.co.uk also uses AVS
(address verification system) to prevent credit card fraud. The "ship to" address should be the credit card holder?s address, unless the
requested alternative address is filed with your credit card issuing company.
OTHER PAYMENT METHODS
We can take direct bank account transfers as well as cheques with guarantee card details and goods are dispatched after cheque clearance -
email us for details. Please phone for any additional order changes. Hard copies will be posted for signature.
We ship via insured carriers. However, should there be a valid reason for it, we reserve the right to choose an alternative method of
shipping, and we will notify you of any changes.
We do not ship to PO box addresses.
We will not ship to an address without a corresponding telephone land-line.
We ship Monday's to Friday's only. No deliveries or collections at weekends, except with extra cost. Should there be problems processing
your order, (payment or processing) we will send an email notification letter, and the consignment will be held until a response is received.
We will only ship complete orders, unless otherwise specified.
We will contact you immediately, should your orders still wait to include an item required from the manufacturer.
All shipments are insured. We are not responsible for packages that are lost after delivery, the customer has responsibility after delivery.
STATUTORY "COOLING OFF PERIOD" AND CANCELLING PROCEDURE
If its a distant sale and you are not satisfied with your furniture flat-pack purchase, you must contact us in writing within seven "cooling off"
working days of delivery to be eligible for a refund, or exchange or credit note, by agreement with totstoteensfurniture.co.uk.
We will not accept returns without prior authorisation. Customers should prominently display their sender's address on the shipping labels of boxes
containing their orders. All returned items must be shipped at the customer?s expense, prepaid in their original cartons, in the same condition as
when dispatched to them.
We do not accept returns 'Cash on delivery'
All shipping charges are non-refundable.
If any component of the returned product is missing, this Return Procedure will be breached and we will reject the entire return or may choose
to impose charges to rectify this.
We understand that sometimes after you place an order you may have second thoughts and wish to cancel. Tots to Teens Furniture is charged
by the credit card companies a processing fee. We fully respect our customers decisions but if you use a credit card, we will reclaim
£30.00 or 5%, whichever is the higher to reflect the loss.
The customer must contact by telephone, fax or email, within 48 hours (not including weekends) of shortages. Notifications of shortages after 48 business hours will
NOT be honoured. You are expected to check and note box condition immediately after you receive it. Keep all labelled boxes for reference purposes, before you
contact us for a shortage.
REFUNDS, EXCHANGES AND RETURNS PROCEDURE
If damage has occurred during shipping, the law requires that you should telephone, AND fax, or email us immediately, with the consignment number
found on the delivery note. You should be able to quote reference number and details of the damage.
It is your responsibility to check your consignment for damage before accepting/signing. If this is not recorded you should note next to your
signature, "BOX" or "X BOXES DAMAGED". Hold the goods and telephone, fax or email details to Tots to Teens Furniture. In any case please mark the
carriers receipt "unchecked" and demand a copy of this to retain.
WARRANTIES AND DEFECTS
All goods have warranties through our suppliers or manufacturers. Should claims for replacements be sent due to a defect, please
contact us by telephone and fax or email. The customer is not responsible for shipping charges to their home of the product replaced,
but must send the defective goods back at the cost price.
